On Monday, UConn secured their place in history by clinching the NCAA championship game with a 75-60 victory over Purdue – making them the first Division I men’s college basketball team to achieve consecutive championships since Florida accomplished this almost 2 decades ago. It was a beautiful weekend at the 54th annual Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, one of the largest juried fine arts shows in the US, and several awards were presented honoring the outstanding artists participating in the show.
