I am honored to have placed “Runner-Up” in the 3rd Annual AMA Regional Marketing Case Competition with my teammates, Jessie Chen and Daniel Largacha Urrutia.?? Over the last few months, we worked diligently to create an actionable marketing plan for GRO Enterprises, Inc, a local New Orleans company focused on sustainable and energy efficient housing using hemp-based insulation.?Being able to apply our coursework to a real campaign was invaluable. I learned an immense amount through conducting research, working successfully in a team dynamic, and creating a comprehensive campaign. I am beyond grateful for this experience and the challenges that came with it. Thank you to the judges, organizers, and sponsors for making this event possible. Additionally, I’d like to thank Jeff Salyers for presenting us with this opportunity and for his invaluable guidance throughout the process. Participating in this competition has strengthened my desire to pursue a career in marketing, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Last Thursday, I had the honor of competing in the 2024 American Marketing Association’s Marketing Case Competition, where we got to present our marketing plan for GRO Enterprises, Inc. Alongside my great partners, Jessie Chen and Sarah Silbert, we had the privilege of being rewarded runner-up in the AMA New Orleans Chapter’s 3rd Annual Marketing Case Competition. Over the last few weeks, we collaborated as a group to create a comprehensive marketing plan for this amazing company. We conducted primary and secondary research looking into the sustainable insulation industry, as well as creating realistic and market-researched solutions to help Grow Enterprises expand its reach. We then presented our final strategic marketing plan for Joel and his company, GRO Enterprises, Inc., who offer sustainable and cost-efficient insulation to Louisiana. I want to give a huge thank you to all the amazing people who created and ran this event, as well as Gro’s CEO Joel for letting us have this educational opportunity and meaningful experience. Finally, I would like to thank our professor Jeff Salyers for guiding us through the process and helping us refine our final product. I look forward to competing in similar events in the future as well as utilizing these new skills in future projects.
