Since 2015, GRO-Biotech has worked with students and academic institutions across the NYC region to showcase the breadth and depth of opportunities available in and around the life sciences. For many of those years, our GRO News weekly newsletters have been an integral part of that effort, and have become one of the "must-read" publications for students and professionals alike. Through our new collaboration with BIOTECH XYZ we're excited to continue and expand this mission, handing the torch to the next generation of up-and-coming biotech leaders and continuing — without any interruption — the weekly newsletters so many of you have come to look forward to every week. If it so happens that you're not yet a subscriber, you can fix that right here: https://bit.ly/GROnews And, be sure to join the BIOTECH XYZ community, too! https://lnkd.in/ehxWW2aE

The WSJ Pro article below struck a chord with us. We have learned of several VC and corporate groups that are downsizing to cope with the slow return to life sciences deal-making. As previously written?here (https://lnkd.in/eDFCr7_C), for BioVenture eLab, connecting life sciences talent to scientific founders is mission-critical. We are reaching out to the community to reinforce and amplify the fact that academic medical centers such as Weill Cornell Medicine are a great place to explore new opportunities, apply your industry knowledge, and grow your professional network.??It is often a win-win because you become immersed in cutting-edge research, your commitment level can be flexible, and you have projects to discuss as you seek your next permanent role.??In select cases, you may even find a full-time role with a university spinout. For those seeking to join our growing C-suite life science talent network, please complete the form here (https://lnkd.in/eR_76jms), and we will be in touch. #innovation, #talent, #entrepreneur, #entrepreneurship, #startups, Loren A.
