Two ways to think about speed: ?? Bandwidth = how much you ship ?? Latency = how fast you act You can combine low-latency connections to get more bandwidth, but you can't combine high-bandwidth connections to get lower latency. When scaling a startup, optimise for latency over bandwidth. ?? Translation: Ship the most important thing as fast as possible, rather than optimising for total features shipped.
