The Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) today announced that Gridwealth EV is one of a select few #electricvehicle (#EV) charging providers that are capable of building Vermont’s charging network to federal and state specifications. Gridwealth EV, our electric vehicle charging division, is building three new stations in Maine! Located at the University of Southern Maine, University of Maine Orono, and Millinocket's Tractor Supply Plaza, these stations will feature battery storage systems (BESS) to reduce strain on the grid. Traditional EV chargers can burden the grid. Gridwealth's solves this by pairing stations with BESS. This allows for: ?? Reduced grid stress for reliable charging ? Faster charging times with twin Jule Power kiosks ?? Lower operating costs through off-peak energy storage ? Exciting news for #EV drivers in #Delaware! We've been awarded a NEVI grant by the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT). This grant will fund the construction of a next-generation EV charging station in the City of Rehoboth Beach. Here's what makes this station special: ?? High-Speed & Low-Cost Charging: The station will feature a direct-current fast charger (DCFC) capable of delivering 600kW of power, providing a quick and affordable charging experience. ?? Sustainable Design: This innovative station pairs the charger with a #battery energy storage system (BESS). This means the station can store energy during off-peak hours and use it to power vehicles during peak times, reducing strain on the grid. ?? Setting a New Standard: Gridwealth's approach offers a win-win for both EV owners and the environment. It makes charging faster and cheaper, while promoting a more sustainable future.
