Today marks an incredibly exciting milestone for me at Water for Good! Just shy of three months ago, I joined the team, ready to lead the final stages of a total rebrand for our organization. Earlier this year, we merged with another nonprofit, uniting our strengths to expand our impact and enhance the effectiveness of our programs. Our goal? To create a ripple effect of sustainable access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene across the communities we serve.
This challenge became a unique opportunity for our team to craft a new narrative and visual style that reflects the combined vision of both organizations. Previously, Water for Good focused primarily on sustainable water access in difficult places, while our partner Lifewater specialized in a holistic water, sanitation, and hygiene village model.
Integrating these strengths and honoring the legacies of both organizations, we designed a new logo centered around a blue water drop—the core of our mission—encircled by green arms that symbolize our commitment to improved health outcomes through sanitation and hygiene.
I am thrilled with how the logo turned out, along with the corresponding imagery, typography, patterns, and graphics. We've also dedicated significant time to refining our key messaging and brand voice, ensuring they resonate with our mission: ???????????????????????? ?????????? ?????????????? ?????????????????????? ???????????? ???? ???????? ??????????, ???????????????? ????????????????????, ?????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????? ???????? ???????? ???? ????????.
Did you know that over 60% of the wells in Sub-Saharan Africa are non-functioning? Our commitment to sustainable water access—by maintaining, repairing, and empowering local communities to take ownership of their water sources—has resulted in an impressive 95% functionality rate for every water point we've installed.
?????? ???? ???? ???? ????????? Because even in 2024, a child dies from a preventable waterborne illness every two minutes, and that’s simply unacceptable. Together, we can change this—FOR GOOD.
