Grey Bull Rescue is excited to announce that George Glezmann is finally heading home after two and a half years held in captivity by the Taliban in Afghanistan.?He is finally free and being reunited with his family. George, an airline mechanic for Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia, was abducted while on vacation. Throughout his captivity, his wife, Aleksandra, had very limited and sporadic phone contact with him. His health has deteriorated significantly and required urgent medical attention. At Grey Bull Rescue, our mission is to bring Americans home from hostile territories—whether they are hostages, kidnapping victims, or stranded in conflict zones. These operations are complex and dangerous, but they demand action. Huge thanks to all those that made his release possible on all sides including U.S. Department of State, SPEHA, Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and so many others. Remembering SOC Adam L. Brown, U.S. Navy SEAL Today we honor and remember our fallen teammate and friend, SOC Adam L. Brown, U.S Navy Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) operator from Hot Springs, Arkansas, who made the ultimate sacrifice on March 17, 2010, in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush mountains.? Adam was not just a Patriot, he was a Warrior of the highest caliber.? Smart. Funny. Creative.? Deadly. A Gold SQDN operator, Purple Heart recipient, and one of the greatest humans ever.? While he only had one eye he could shoot, move, communicate better than so many other men.????? Adam served his country with distinction for 12 years as U.S. Navy SEAL and died with a full heart doing what he loved.? His remarkable journey from personal struggles to Dam Neck is captured in Eric Blehm's book "Fearless" - a powerful testament to faith, perseverance, and redemption.?? While we honor the hero portrayed in a book, we also remember Adam as a son, brother, husband, father, friend, and teammate. If Adam were alive today, he’d still be running and gunning or doing something crazy.?? On this solemn anniversary, while everyone is enjoying Saint Paddy’s day, please take a moment to remember Adam and his family especially his widow Kelly and their kids.? It was truly an honor to keynote the DEKRA 38th Safety in Action Conference at the Gaylord Hotels in DC. It was an incredible experience to engage with C-Suite leaders, industry experts, safety professionals, and innovators who share a common mission with Grey Bull Rescue — to save lives!! ?We were part of a number of sessions, panels, and of course the small groups and one on ones. ?Great topics. ?Great people. ?Great questions. ?Great engagement. ? A huge thank you to the DEKRA enterprise for inviting us and hosting such an impactful event and for your unwavering commitment to safety across industries and environments. Whether in war zones, disaster relief efforts, or workplace safety initiatives, preparation and vigilance are key to protecting lives and getting people home safely. ? Bryan Stern was honored to share insights leading Grey Bull Rescue in our global operations as well as his 27 years in the Special Operations and Intelligence Communities. ?Bryan shared anecdotes of developing trust in low trust or no trust environments, negotiating without leverage, how to recover from the “no”, and other lessons learned?leading Grey Bull Rescue’s 728 life-saving missions across Afghanistan, Ukraine, Russia, Sudan, Haiti, Israel, Lebanon, Gaza, and multiple disaster zones. Bryan hopes his insights contributed to the ongoing mission of strengthening safety practices worldwide. A key message that Bryan drove home was that regardless of your organization, whether in conflict zones or the workplace environment, the fundamental principles of safety, preparation, and leadership remain constant. Bryan said it best, “If you are in the safety business, then your goals and Grey Bull Rescue’s goals are aligned and we are, in fact, the same.” ? Today, March 9th Grey Bull Rescue honors and prays for American hostages and those wrongful detained held in captivity across the globe.? Grey Bull Rescue stands proud to have rescued hostages and brought them safely home to American soil and returned them to their praying families.????? Since August 2021, our team has been rescuing Americans from warzones and disasters including dozens of Americans held hostage in Ukraine, Russia, Gaza, and other locations.?? We praise the very few organizations focused on this fight including:? Hostage US , FOLEY FOUNDATION, Hostage Aid Worldwide, and our U.S. Government colleagues in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Department of State, and other agencies who we work with every single day.???? Our most well-known American hostage rescue case is that of Kirillo-Edvard Alexandrov.?? Kirillo, an American Citizen, is the first American victim of war crimes alive since WWII.??? Kirillo endured 37 days of unlawful detention and torture at the hands of Russian forces who falsely accused him of 11 counts of espionage.? Against tremendous odds, our team at Grey Bull Rescue, led by Bryan Stern, launched a bold rescue operation when all other options failed. Through hostile territory, our operatives executed a daring operation against the Russians, whom today, can’t figure out how we did it.? Bryan promised his mother that he would bring Kirillo home.? Our team made good on the promise.??? The DoJ, for the first time in U.S. history, were able to bring indictments for war crimes committed against an American by a foreign power.
