Entryways are often overlooked when considering how to improve a park, yet they are crucial for allowing access, building awareness, providing safety and instilling community pride! Through Park Pride's Design Workshop, employees from our Midtown Atlanta office recently collaborated with Friends of Empire Park to reimagine their park's entrance and celebrate the space's unique character. ??? Over an eight-week period, the multidisciplinary team visited the site, charetted, met with community members and finally presented their plan. Their proposal integrates short-term interventions and a long-term vision to reinvigorate the park as a vibrant community hub.
