This weekend, we joined Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg, Parks Alliance of Louisville, Louisville Parks and Rec, community members and partners to break ground on this exciting transformation in the Smoketown neighborhood! ???? Designed with community input, the new Ballard Park will feature a timber playground, picnic pavilion, fitness stations, and a basketball court, along with sustainable upgrades like stormwater management and nearly 50 new trees. We’re excited to celebrate a major milestone at LG Chem America, Inc.'s new electric vehicle battery cathode plant in the City of Clarksville! Alongside our partners JE Dunn Construction, Cooper Steel, and Midwest Steel, Inc., we recently topped off the 160-foot-tall structure, placing the final steel beam. ???? From architecture, engineering and landscape architecture, to wayfinding and branded environments, our team is delivering a full suite of design services that support LG Chem’s strategic initiative of onshoring battery component production. Once complete, this facility will represent the largest foreign direct investment in Tennessee’s history and will bring nearly 900 jobs to the area.
