My life was forever changed when I learned that the number one regret people have on their deathbed is, "I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me." This discovery punched me in the face because it made me realize I was doing exactly that. I was wearing a mask, living someone else's life. After a fair bit of floundering and feeling sorry for myself, I embarked on my Hero's journey where I: - quit my job in finance - started a nonprofit with a stranger I met on the internet - started The Dare to Dream Podcast - started writing publicly online - became an ICF-credentialed life & leadership coach - fulfilled my dream of building my own coaching practice My ego loves telling that story.
