This is why innovative tech startups take off in #GreenvilleSC! ?? Here, you get big-city opportunities without the big-city headaches. Entrepreneurial resources and talent are helping startups like Ducklinks make a splash. Founder Allison Rogers tapped into events like the NextGEN Summit and connected with industry leaders like John Barnett to build a game-changing platform that’s transforming how families plan their time together. We don't just give entrepreneurs encouragement, we give them tools, connections and community that help turn bold ideas into reality.

Supporting local vendors is always in season in #GreenvilleSC. Our TD Saturday Market runs May through October—but what about the rest of the year? Farmers and small business owners still need a place to connect with the community. That need inspired Shontel Babb, a pie baker, to open Frosty Farmer Winter Market, open from January through April inside a former shopping mall.

There are "angel" investors, and then there are "wizard" investors. Global soccer icon Ronaldinho Gaúcho, known as "O Bruxo" for his tricks, no-look passes and overhead kicks is part owner of the Greenville Triumph SC and Greenville Liberty. He was on Main Street today to visit group headquarters, sign autographs at the team store and attend groundbreaking on a new stadium in the region. On October 9, the New York Stock Exchange welcomed Ronaldinho to ring the closing bell, kick off its inaugural NYSE International Day and celebrate his new partnership with the Greenville Pro Soccer group. Our diverse, welcoming community encourages global investment in all sectors.

#GreenvilleSC families are getting their ducks ?? in a row with guidance from a home-grown startup. Ducklinks founder and CEO Allison Rogers, a practicing attorney and mother of three, created the service to streamline schedules. "I've had multiple screens up with newsletters, websites, my kids' schedules and I'd try to piece it all together," Rogers says. "It wasn't fun. I didn't always make the right choices. We would go to an event that wasn't age appropriate or we might not get the timing right." Rogers found support and mentors here in #GreenvilleSC and created an app that does the work for you. Ducks. Row. Done.
