This role requires strong academic credentials, a robust work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and extensive experience in high-net worth trust and estate administration, estate planning, probate, succession planning, federal gift and estate tax returns preferred. Duties: Craft comprehensive estate plans and draft a wide array of legal documents, including Trusts and Wills. Advise clients on asset protection, estate and income tax planning, generation skipping transfer tax planning, special needs planning, and business succession matters. Assist fiduciaries in administering complex trusts and estates and preparation of estate and gift tax returns. Collaborate with other attorneys and clients to deliver effective legal strategies and solutions. Conduct legal research and provide insights on trust and estates matters and related transactions. ? Requirements: 2 to 5 years of estate planning experience, particularly representing high net worth individuals Strong background in estate planning and trust and estate administration. ? LLM in tax not required, but experience with tax issues related to practice areas preferred. Licensed to practice law in Connecticut. ? Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. ? Certifications: Admission to the Connecticut Bar. ? Skills: Excellent legal writing and drafting abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
