We made our presentation this morning recommending that the North Nevada Corridor in #ColoradoSprings be reinvisioned as an #InnovationNeighborhood. The Panel’s observations and recommendations were well received by the community, and our presentation will be available on the Urban Land Institute’s website followed by a full report later this spring. This week, I’m honored to be invited to Colorado Springs to serve on an Urban Land Institute Advisory Services Panel (ULI ASP) to provide recommendations on the redevelopment of the historic North Nevada Avenue Corridor. Together, with the community, our panel will think about strategies to revitalize the area leveraging innovation, emerging tech, key industries, placemaking, thoughtful design and real estate development. Special thanks to our hosts University of Colorado Colorado Springs , the Honorable Mayor Blessing ‘Yemi’ Mobolade , City of Colorado Springs , Colorado Springs Utilities , Colorado Springs Urban Renewal Authority and the entire community. It has been a privilege to visit the beautiful Pikes Peak region.
