Our cultures have always been conscientious of our relationship with the land, water, animals, plants, and the air. Latinos y Hispanos from all backgrounds—just like our non-Hispanic Native, White, and Black compas in the west— prefer that public lands remain in federal control, that we act to restore endangered species to healthy populations, and that polluters (not tax payers) pay for restoring places when oil and gas drilling is finished.
