We’re transforming a 9-acre vacant brownfield on the South Side of Chicago into a renewable energy facility and green oasis for economic empowerment, clean energy, fresh produce, and vibrant communities.

Today at Green Era's campus the beauty of the restored prairie and the trucks of food waste that would have been bound for the land fill, quickly dropped the waste on its journey through our technology on the way back to growing more food on the farm. Capturing that methane before it hits the atmosphere and our lungs IS climate change response in action! Green economy is here! ??? much more to come as we complete the urban farm, education and research center and community market and plant nursery!!! We can do it!!! Phase 2 is ready to develop!
