How2Recycle? (H2R) — the 800-plus-brand coalition behind the "chasing arrows" ?? label you see on most products — just launched a major change. Enter:?a new dynamic label with a QR code on it so that you get a clear-cut answer on whether a product can be recycled in your specific region. All Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs have one thing in common: producers ?? These producers are defined within EPR proposals and specify the types of companies that are “obligated” or required to participate under the program. But, who is exempt? Heads up! CalRecycle published their revised regulatory text for the California Extended Producer Responsibility (#EPR) Law, SB54 yesterday. Stakeholders have until October 29th to submit public comments for consideration by CalRecycle. One notable change under Article 5: Requirements for Producers: CalRecycle has recommended that "On or before July 1, 2025, each producer shall register with the Department."
