Responsibilities Develop and strengthen relationships with Sprouts buying team as well as distributors used (KeHE, etc.). Be proactive in identifying new opportunities for our partners including “Speed to Shelf” and promotional opportunities. Develop and recommend strategic promotional plans for our suppliers with understanding of Sprouts digital promotional offerings. Introduce new products from our suppliers according to their new item protocol, adhering to all requirements and deadlines. Assist in seamless execution of new item launches and promotions. Understand and utilize applicable analytics to drive sales and find opportunities.?? Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principal clients and with all retailer and Distributor partners.? Collaborate with Green Spoon leadership team to generate ideas for growing our principals’ business and make suggestions for improvement. Offer continuous communication and transparency to our supplier partners. Present and receive buyer approvals for new lines/SKUs, promotional and seasonal opportunities, etc. while working to secure key retailer appointments for our principals. ? ? Measurable's Present and receive buyer approvals for new lines/SKUs, promotional and seasonal opportunities, etc. Track new item launches and address voids.? Secure prime placement in planograms and on store shelves. Prepare and submit New Items Forms, Distributor and Retail Promotions on a consistent basis by deadlines. Secure key retailer appointments for our principals. Attend retailer meetings with principals and collaborate on all paperwork and reporting. Manage and oversee category review calendars that pertain to our principals and your account responsibilities. Offer continuous communication and transparency to our supplier partners. ? Job Qualifications ?Motivated, diplomatic, and proactive attitude.?? The ideal candidate would be in Phoenix, AZ or the surrounding metro area.? Relevant grocery experience required; Sprouts experience preferred. A college degree strongly preferred.? Organic and natural experience preferred.? 3+ years of relevant CPG experience and/or 2+ years direct Sprouts experience. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote? Responsibilities: Manage team of Promotions Coordinators? Drive accountability on deadlines, accuracy, and organization for promotional updates and changes that come from brand partners Lead weekly team calls to update team on initiatives, project updates and best practices. Lead team one-on-one meetings with coordinators to understand any challenges or outstanding issues to lend support to. Work cross departmentally with key account teams to ensure promotion deliverables are being met. Train and onboard new Promotions Coordinators on team processes and tools. Brand Interaction Work directly with brand partners to strategize on promotional changes, updates, and requirements.? Properly organize and communicate changes to broader Promotions and Trade Spend team. Work with Promotions Coordinators to ensure updates are reflected in existing promotion plans. Assist Executive Director of Promotions & Trade Spend in roll out of annual promotions planning process. Experience interacting with CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) brands Building and maintaining trusting relationships with brand partners. Helping brands navigate promotional strategy through insights and recommendations. Minimum 5+ years natural foods and grocery experience required. Solid understanding of retailer promotions and promotional discounts required. Great attention to detail and highly organized. Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
