The City of Green’s Drug Task Force, in partnership with the Mental Wellness Committee and Green area churches, presents Hope & Healing Sunday on March 30. Following morning services on Hope and Healing Sunday, a special "Table of Hope Luncheon: Faith-Based Conversation on Wellness" takes place on Sunday, March 30, from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at Queen of Heaven Parish Life Center, 1800 Steese Rd. All churches are invited to participate. Lunch is provided. Reservations are requested to assist with food planning. Register by emailing [email protected] or visiting cityofgreen.org/hope

The City of Green’s Drug Task Force is accepting applications for its 2025 Drug Task Force Scholarship for Green residents graduating from high school impacted by drug or alcohol abuse or pursuing a career in the recovery field. High school seniors who reside in Green interested in applying for the $1,000 scholarship may apply online at https://lnkd.in/gjuwk6Fq. Application deadline is April 25, 2025 at 4 pm.

In June, Green's Electric aggregation rate is increasing due to market changes. The new price is comparable to other communities. Residents may choose to opt-out and shop for their own rate through an apples-to-apples comparison at energychoice.ohio.gov If you shop on your own, make sure you understand all the terms, which can include low introductory offers, or cancellation fees.
