The City of Green recently received the Auditor of State Award with Distinction for the City’s 2023 audit report. The State Auditor Keith Faber’s Office presents the Auditor of State Award with Distinction to local governments and school districts upon the completion of a financial audit. This is the seventh time out of the last nine years that Green has earned such a distinction.

With the temperatures dropping, we are thankful that CAK has flights to the sunshine state!

The Green Veterans Advisory Commission and Green High School are partnering to host a military career fair for all residents (high school and beyond) interested in learning about career opportunities in the military. The career fair is November 20 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Central Park Community Hall.

With the support of an additional $10,000 local match, Green will focus on enhancing our public spaces with cultural, educational, and artistic installations, guided by community input and the Akron/Summit Cultural Plan’s vision.
