Today, most hydrogen is produced through steam methane reforming (SMR), a method that emits nearly 10 kg of CO? for every 1 kg of hydrogen. This method, widely used, contributes to substantial global GHG emissions. Enter Jules Hydrogen: a groundbreaking system powered by our proprietary Thermal Hydrogen Synthesis (THS) process, which brings together end to end systems integration and optimization in advanced power electronics, high-temperature thermal storage, Photovoltaic Thermal (PVT) panels, BESS, and state-of-the-art controls. Designed to optimize various electrolyzer technologies, Jules Hydrogen offers unparalleled scalability and efficiency, dramatically reducing the overall cost of hydrogen production and accelerating the transition to clean energy, delivering truly zero-emission hydrogen.
With a nod to the visionary Jules Verne, who once foresaw hydrogen as "an inexhaustible source of heat and light," we are bringing that vision closer to reality. Jules Hydrogen enables up to 20% more efficiency in hydrogen production, minimizing the energy demand and cost per kilogram of hydrogen. For a 100 MW plant, this efficiency means 23,000 metric tons less CO? emitted annually, a game-changer for sustainability.
