We are thrilled to announce that IMT has been awarded a grant by the William Penn Foundation’s Democracy and Civic Initiatives program! ???? We are deeply grateful to the William Penn Foundation and the Green Family Foundation for their support to further our work supporting community lenders to leverage the historic Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF). This grant will help IMT and our partners Building Energy Exchange, Philadelphia Green Capital Corp., New Ecology, Inc., and Green Building United support lenders in the Southeastern Pennsylvania community as they leverage Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. What a great week with the team at the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo here in Philadelphia last week. There were so many great sessions, including members and staff of Green Building United, exploring innovative strategies for sustainable building design, energy efficiency, and resilience. It was inspiring to see so many leaders and professionals coming together to advance efficient and sustainable building practices. Kudos to Tammy Lee and Nidhi Krishen for hosting impactful sessions that sparked meaningful conversations about the future of our built environment. A special highlight was celebrating Philadelphia’s achievement of LEED for Cities Platinum certification—a testament to the city’s commitment to sustainability and climate action. What an amazing week for the sustainability community, with Greenbuild International Conference & Expo returning to Philadelphia! The conference had many thousands of attendees. It was wonderful seeing friends, learning from industry experts and making new connections. The sessions were amazing - providing in-depth knowledge of the current challenges and highlighting opportunities and holistic solutions for the built environment. The collaboration with Phius was wonderful. Honored to have served as co-chair of the host committee with Rich Freeh. Thanks to the host committee, advisory committee, steering committee and Green Building United, for all your efforts in bringing this conference to Philadelphia.
