Last week, some members of the Leadership Green Bay class of 2025 stopped by the Green Bay Area Public School District Office to drop off donations as a part of "Operation Snack Pack." This cohort collected and organized 600 snack packs to be distributed to our elementary school counselors. The goal of the snack packs is to create another means for school counselors to build relationships with students and to provide a bright spot in their day. Thank you to the members of this Leadership Green Bay cohort for your donation to the District and our students!

West High School recently hosted several very special guests: West High alumna Barbara (Dauplaise) Jenkins (Class of ‘53), her daughter, Anne Bern, and her nephew, Mike Dauplaise (Preble Class of ‘78). Barbara is the daughter of West High School principal George Dauplaise, who served from 1946-1970. While West High School has undergone many changes since that time, Barbara remembered much of the school from both her time living at West and when she was a student at West. ?? We're seeing progress at Preble High School thanks to the November 2022 Referendum! Renovations of the auditorium continue, as well as the addition to the Preble commons and second floor classrooms. Here's a sneak peak at the updates. These projects, along with so many more across the District, are thanks to community support of the November 2022 Referendum. With the passage of the November 2024 Referendum, work is already underway to improve learning spaces across the Green Bay Area Public School District. Chappell Elementary School will see changes including a new gym, a dedicated cafeteria space, a safe student pick up and drop off area, and replacing aging hardware, electrical, windows, doors and more. Thank you to the greater Green Bay community for your support of the November 2024 Referendum. These projects would not be possible without community support.
