When?Satish Jayanthi and I founded?Coalesce.io, we always had a greater vision than focusing on “just data transformations.” As our company grew, we knew there would come a time when we’d encounter another team, product, and category that would complement ours perfectly. It was critical to us that the cultures of the two teams were aligned, along with the product philosophy. It’s with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I can confidently say we found that company. Today we’re thrilled to announce that Coalesce has acquired CastorDoc. For years, venture capitalists and data thought leaders talked about the consolidation of the Modern Data Stack. Yet, not a single company had made a cross-category acquisition, until today. While everyone likes to speculate, Coalesce delivers. Vendor fatigue is at an all time high. With software providers rolling out massive price hikes and new pricing structures that lead to customer frustration, we’ve taken a different approach. We’ve asked ourselves, how can we add as much value to data practitioners’ lives as possible? Investing in the catalog space was an obvious fit.
