For every item purchased, suppliers will donate the equivalent of one meal at Walmart and five meals at Sam’s Club to local food banks through Feeding America. It's National Frozen Food Day! Did you know frozen foods play a crucial role in fighting hunger? Their extended shelf life makes them ideal for food banking, allowing us to distribute nutritious options like frozen meat, fruits, vegetables, and prepared meals across North Dakota and Clay County, MN. With our refrigerated trucks, we ensure frozen food stays frozen—whether it's traveling just a few miles or hundreds across our service area! We’re sending a huge thank you to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their incredible donation of 28,157 pounds of shelf-stable food! ?? This generous gift, delivered to our warehouse last month, is a powerful example of how national and local partnerships come together to fight hunger. With the support of local volunteers, this donation was distributed to neighbors at Pembina Food Pantry and Becker County Food Pantry, in collaboration with North Country Food Bank - bringing hope and nourishment to our communities.??
