They’re raising funds for John (Gio) Giordano, who is on a long road to recovery after a serious accident. His efforts earned him several prestigious awards, including Industry Man of the Year from the Anti-Defamation League and Distributor of the Year from Philip Morris. In honor of the 23rd anniversary of the tragic events on September 11th, 2001, Mayor Rilling invites the community to join him, local leaders, and the Norwalk Police and Fire Departments for the City’s 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony tomorrow, September 11th, at 9:00 AM. The ceremony will be hosted on the Eric Malmquist Track Field, next to Norwalk City Hall. City officials and local attendees will be honoring the 14 Norwalk residents and nearly 3,000 others who lost their lives. #September11 #CityOfNorwalk #NeverForget
