It’s always a treat to have visitors here in the Yuma/San Luis area. We’d like to thank United States Consul General in México Michelle Ward, and her staff, all the way from Nogales Sonora for her visit to the mega region! This week, GYPA was a proud sponsor of an event in conjunction with other AZ Port Authorities and the District Export Council that brought the lead UsMCA negotiators to Arizona! A wealth of knowledge was shared among individuals who understand how vital this agreement is to our economies. Both the Chairman of the Board, Matias Rosales and the Executive Director represented the authority. The GYPA board met at the end of the week and has some great projects in the pipelines! A border community innovative & United! GSA provided a construction update for the San Luis I Port Remodel at the City of San Luis Cultural Center today. San Luis will be the first net-zero energy Port in the United States. GSA presented the new structures that will accommodate solar technology & provide share for a more efficient operation of the new port facilities. #311Million #NetZeroPort #SanLuisAZ
