Downtown Reimagined. San Antonio city leaders have unveiled an ambitious plan to transform the downtown core into a vibrant, community-focused hub. At the center of this reimagining is a new sports and entertainment district, featuring a new Spurs arena, an upgraded Alamodome, and a land bridge that will connect downtown to the East Side. Additional highlights include an expanded convention center and a new convention center hotel, setting the stage for increased tourism and economic growth. The development also incorporates retail spaces, residential housing, and designated land for further development. According to city officials, portions of the project could be completed within the next few years, with the Spurs arena projected to be finished by 2030. The full buildout, however, is expected to span up to 15 years, marking a transformative era for San Antonio's urban landscape. Watch the City of San Antonio's video: https://hubs.li/Q02Z6zvZ0

Two new flights in one week. ? The San Antonio International Airport (SAT) celebrated the launch of two new flights this week. Delta Air Lines has introduced nonstop service to #Boston, linking two of the nation’s largest bioscience clusters. This route promises to enhance opportunities for groundbreaking research and innovation between our vibrant cities. Volaris inaugurated a new nonstop route to #Monterrey, Mexico. With four daily flights, Monterrey—San Antonio’s oldest sister city and Mexico’s business capital—becomes even more accessible. Our strong economic ties and academic exchange programs, which allow students to study on both sides of the border, will continue to flourish with the increased frequency. SAT is on track for another record-breaking year, with more than 11 million passengers expected to pass through by year-end! This progress is driven by the strategic vision and leadership of Airports Director Jesus Saenz and his outstanding team. Visit San Antonio #FlySAT #OneSATX #AirTravel #CatchingFlights
