Last year, we created an initiative to address mental health disparities. This initiative brought therapists into barbershops and beauty salons and offered free group therapy to our clients. Over this last year, we have been working to reduce the stigma surrounding therapy in Black communities, provide culturally specific mental health resources to our clients, and address social determinants of health through presentations from Capitol City Black Nurses Association. After serving over 1,000 people and enrolling 60 participants in individual therapy, we hosted our first joint session at Golden 1 Arena. This event was a celebration for our clients who have been committed to improving their mental health over the last year.
