Last week, we were honored to be included in a roundtable on the needs of rural communities in the #FLX, hosted by the Office of the NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli As the voice of business for the nine-county region, seeking additional ways to collaborate with and support rural communities who play a vital role in the #GreaterROC/NYS economy is critical to our work. Thanks to the Comptroller and Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture at Cornell AgriTech for hosting this and including our team in the discussion.

We all need to continue working together to help grow our airport and our region. This week we hosted our third session for the 2024-2025 CLIMB cohort in downtown ROC, focused on Economic Development & Entreprenuership in #GreaterROC! Our day started with Lauren Gallina Payne from Gallina Development sharing more about the work they’re doing at Innovation Square. We then enjoyed lunch at The Commissary before meeting with Greater Rochester Enterprise. We finished the day with a presentation on the role of OneROC as a capacity builder in #GreaterROC and a tour of NextCorps to see how they are fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.
