While we're all celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow, please keep in mind those dedicated men and women making it happen at GPSD. They handle it all...all the time. Just this short week alone: - Helped customers who call and don't know what to do (that's everyone in our 5-star rated local customer service department) - Making sure payroll is flawless (that's our finance department) - Crew leaders and pretreatment professionals navigating the challenging call in or upset customer (you know who you are :) ) - Working literally around the clock on a major CSO project (inspection department) - Getting raw screw pump 1 in service after a year of being down (maintenance teams) - Completing rehabilitation on hydro-gritter (maintenance and labor teams - check out the picture) - Performing lab samples to make sure we're in compliance with EPA regulations (lab and compliance team) - Confined space entry to clear up a blockage (equipment operation and labor teams) - Engineering teams designing and planning for RNG and other projects and heling developers meet specs and requirements (GPSD's top engineering team) - Those who supervise, coordinate, and connect all the work, whether it's at the plant or in the collection system (supervisory and IS teams) Finally, while we're enjoying our turkey and sides, please keep in mind the operators working 24/7, even on holidays! Oh, and....DON'T PUT GREASE DOWN THE DRAIN!!!!
