We stand firmly against H.R. 9495, which threatens to undermine nonprofits' essential role in fostering equity and justice. We call on Louisiana lawmakers to reject this dangerous bill and protect the organizations driving meaningful, community-led change across our region. #hr9495 #philanthropy Read our full statement:

Excited to share Dion’s insights!
Our journey toward justice began long before this election cycle, and will continue long after. The Funders Network remains steadfast in our belief that we cannot address the escalating climate crisis, widening wealth gap or stark inequities in healthcare access – among other critical issues – without addressing systemic racial injustice. As we head into the final stretch of this presidential election, TFN President & CEO Dion Cartwright shares reflections and resources with TFN’s community of funders, partners and allies. We love to share the powerful work that GNOFN members are doing to support organizations and communities in Louisiana! This timely story about residents and communities coming together to battle flooding in underserved areas of New Orleans is a great example of how philanthropy can drive local impact. Congratulations on this great feature in Bustle, Victoria Adams Phipps! Thanks for highlighting the investments that JPMorganChase and Propeller: A Force for Social Innovation have made to support the incredible work Arien Hall and Luisa Abballe are doing to provide underserved areas with new ways to manage stormwater.
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to work with my colleagues at JPMorganChase to dive deep into a story of local impact. I am thrilled that it has finally been released! Across the globe, we have the honor of supporting incredible nonprofits who are creating positive economic impact. Here in New Orleans, we support organizations like Propeller: A Force for Social Innovation, and deeply impactful small businesses, like Mastodonte LLC, to fully achieve their missions that benefit our city and the people who call it home. Thanks to the team at Bustle for telling our story and to my counterparts who spearheaded this effort!
