On Wednesday, February 5, the Greater Mankato Ambassadors joined TBEI, Inc. in celebrating the addition of a state-of-the-art press brake, a $1.3 million investment enhancing their manufacturing capabilities.

Yesterday, we gathered for an inspiring luncheon to celebrate our organization’s achievements, discuss future initiatives, and honor our incredible Volunteers of the Year! ??? We are mourning the loss of our friend Bob Hoffman. After a long and decorated career in education and the private sector, Bob served on the board of directors of GMG and in 2019 as Interim President & CEO. His energy and cheerful personality left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His contributions to the greater Mankato community have helped our region grow in ways unimaginable without his leadership and vision. Those who knew him, know his mantra, “onward and upward.” A fitting legacy for a remarkable man.

?? Happy Birthday, Liz! ?? Liz has played a vital role at Greater Mankato Growth, Inc., wearing many hats throughout her career. She leads the way in planning special events, connecting with member businesses, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. A graduate of the University of Maryland in Munich, Germany, Liz has also completed the Greater Mankato Leadership Institute and the YWCA's Elizabeth Kearney Women's Leadership Program. Outside of work, you’ll find Liz enjoying time with family and friends, cheering on Maverick hockey, gardening, and traveling. Join us in wishing Liz a fantastic birthday! ??????
