Kansas businesses and entrepreneurs were honored Thursday night during the Kansas Department of Commerce's 2024 To The Stars: Kansas Business Awards ceremony at the Great Bend Convention and Visitors Bureau. K-State's recently completed economic impact analysis reported a $1.3 billion annual impact. We are always working toward increased private-sector job creation, but we never lose sight of the significant impacts these large public-sector employers have on our overall economic well-being.
