We met some wonderful kiddos, toured the facility, and learned about current challenges impacting the childcare center. We had a wonderful time at last week's Economic Outlook Breakfast, presented by Builtwell Bank! Dr. Greg George, the Oliner Professor at Middle Georgia State University, presented us with some fascinating information about the country's economic climate. There's some pretty cool stuff taking place at the Convention Center this weekend, so don't miss out!! Did you know that Greater Dalton hosts the FIRST Robotics Competition every year, where schools across the entire state of Georgia compete against one another to show off their sweet engineering skills? Today kicked off the qualifying event, but the teams will be there all day tomorrow, and you HAVE to see it! If you have a young student at home needing some weekend entertainment (and maybe a little S.T.E.M. education), bring them to the Dalton Convention Center.
