The Columbia Chamber’s Breakfast Meeting was very informative this morning—the topic being “The New Richland County Transportation Penny Program.” Jesica Johnson Mackey, Richland County Council was one of our panelists, along with Creston Brown, TPAC Representative, City of Columbia and Maurice Pearl, M.P.A., The COMET. The panelists educated local businesses on the importance of the continuation of the current sales tax and provided insight on much-needed projects throughout the County.
