As part of the Power Forward Communities coalition, Habitat for Humanity is pleased to have been awarded a grant from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide capital for affordable residential decarbonization throughout the country. Strong Women Build Strong Communities! ???? Our annual Women Build and Women Repair was a smashing success! Not only did we get to spend time with some pretty amazing people, but we also made significant progress on our construction and repair projects: all thanks to our incredible volunteers! A big shoutout to Bank of America and the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (official_nbcfae) for sending volunteers to support us this week!

This weekend, a new volunteer learned how to operate a miter saw! Our long-time volunteer and tool manager, John, walked her through each cut until she could do it on her own.
