On Tuesday, March 4, Great Wolf Lodge Mashantucket hosted a "Patriot Plunge" charity event. New England Patriots players Christian Gonzalez, Keion White, and David Andrews were the very first to splash into our all-new 92,000-sq.-ft. indoor water park, raising money with every waterslide trip. The players raced down the slides 28 times in just 30 minutes, raising $12,250 for Make-A-Wish to help grant life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses. ? Thanks to our partners at Make-A-Wish and the New England Patriots. Our Connecticut lodge opens this May —we’re looking forward to seeing you soon!

We’re celebrating World Water Day by highlighting some of the ways that Great Wolf is working to help conserve water at our lodges: · Creating a no-waste water system with new pool filters · Replacing plumbing fixtures with more efficient versions, thereby saving between 35-50% of our daily water usage · Implementing all-natural and nontoxic pool-cleaning materials to lower our chemical and carbon footprint Great Wolf is committed to sustainability throughout all of our lodges. This past year, we debuted Great Wolf Lodge's immersive new show, The Legend of Luna, in the Grand Lobby of our latest resorts. And now, we’re thrilled to be honored with a prestigious THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement in themed entertainment! The Legend of Luna reflects our commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for families. While we’re honored to be recognized among our peers with this prestigious award, it more importantly symbolizes our true goal: to bring joy to families by delivering heartfelt and emotional experiences for all ages. My sincere gratitude goes out to our exceptionally creative team, led by Brooke Patterson, Chief Brand Officer, our partners in this project BRC Imagination Arts and the ID3 Group, our purpose-driven shareholders at Blackstone, and of course our valued guests for helping us reach this milestone—and thank you to the Themed Entertainment Association. Love Your Lodge is our way of celebrating Pack Members who have made a career at Great Wolf Lodge. Today, we’re featuring Kurt Mueller, Assistant Director of Engineering at Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs. 1. What do you love about working at Great Wolf Lodge? ? Loving Great Wolf is easy! The lodge is beautiful and my fellow Pack Members are amazing. When I wake up in the morning, I’m excited that this is the place I’m heading for work. 2. What’s a way that you get to help out other Pack Members working at Great Wolf? ? I’m able to help the pack by getting things up and running, like the iron machine in laundry, or air handlers for the lodge. 3. What’s a unique aspect of your lodge that makes it fun to work at? ? One unique feature of the Colorado Springs Lodge is our amazing view: We have Pikes Peak, as well as the Air Force Academy, literally right in our backyard.?I also like being able to help out in the waterpark—after we fix something, sometimes I get to test out a slide!

Our seasonal Spring Breakout celebration isn’t just for our guests—it’s also a chance to make the lodge over for our Pack Members. As Devyn Nunez, Entertainment Ambassador for Great Wolf Lodge in Naples, FL puts it, “We love transforming our lodge, especially for the season of spring!” ? “Guests truly feel the spirit of spring throughout the Grand Lobby the moment they enter the lodge,” adds Entertainment Manager Mya Pennington. “We cannot wait to inspire children to play in a world that cultivates imagination and adventure within our immersive spring activities and programming.” We hope everyone gets a chance to visit and experience Spring Breakout for themselves.

Join us in welcoming Joshua Goss to the pack! Joshua will be joining Great Wolf’s two-year Human Resources Leadership Development Program in June. A recent graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Joshua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Marketing, as well as a Master’s in HR & Industrial Relations. Having worked in hospitality starting at age 15, he says he’s excited to be “working with diverse teams, analyzing workforce challenges, and developing strategies that enhance both employee experience and business outcomes.” “I wanted to work at Great Wolf Lodge because I’m interested in gaining hands-on HR leadership experience,” Joshua says. “I’m passionate about empowering employees who are dedicated to their work by ensuring they have the resources and support of a strong HR team.” The HRLDP program gives him the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

Today, we’re featuring Lori Ruggiero, manager of conference services at Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, MA. 1. What do you love about working at Great Wolf Lodge? I have worked at this property since 2008, when the former water resort was purchased by Great Wolf. I always knew it was capable of being so much more. In 2014, we reopened as the first renovated Great Wolf Lodge. The best part of my job has been working with all the amazing leaders, mentors, and coworkers that are now friends for life. 2. What’s a way that you get to help out other Pack Members working at Great Wolf?? I let Pack Members know I am always available to assist if they are struggling with a task. Sharing my expertise when needed, providing encouragement, actively listening to their concerns, and offering praise for their accomplishments. Essentially, being available and supportive to help them succeed. 3. What’s a personal or unique aspect of your lodge that makes it fun to work at? Every year our lodge enters the Chili Chowder Cook Off, and we’ve taken home awards almost every time! We also host an event at the lodge where we get to showcase elaborate decorations and our culinary expertise. My favorite part is seeing our pack take pride in showcasing their talents.
