The Great West team recently completed multiple bridge inspections in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest.?A towable “manlift” was used to safely and efficiently view key components of the bridges. These inspections are a vital part of ensuring the safety and longevity of the region's infrastructure.

Pipe bursting is an innovative solution that can have significant savings over traditional excavation of old infrastructure.?Check out the video of 12-inch Geothermal HDPE pipe replacing failing Asbestos Cement pipe in the Boise Warm Springs Water District!?This installation involved a single seamless pull spanning 910 feet, accomplished in just over 4 hours.

We’re excited to see more of Virginia City’s water system upgrades take shape!?Check out the pics of the 24-inch pipe with mountains in the background!?When complete, this phase of the project will upgrade the community’s water system by adding a water tank bypass to provide chlorine contact time when the tank is offline for maintenance.?These upgrades are in addition to the several blocks of new pipe replacements and a new PRV station to upgrade the water system for generations to come.

We had a great work trip to Alaska where our team provided MOLO (Manager of Landfill Operations) training working hands-on with landfill staff from around the entire state.?It’s all part of our commitment to share expertise in solid waste operations and management, helping communities implement safe, sustainable practices. We’re proud to be part of the mission to protect Alaska’s unique environment and support the dedicated teams that make it possible!

We recently had the privilege of volunteering with the Helena Food Share’s Kid Pack program. Kid Packs are special packs of kid-friendly foods that provide a source of weekend nutrition during the school year for kids at risk of hunger due to circumstances in their homes.
