Students from the Great Lakes Science Center Robotics Initiative arrived in the Dominican Republic and will be assisting medical personnel at Laboratorio Ortopédico over the course of 10 days. ?? Led by JonDarr Bradshaw, students will be fabricating and assembling 3-D printed, upper-limb prosthetic devices for children in need. They will also be training the medical personnel at the clinic to use 3-D printers to produce low-cost prosthetics for families. We are so proud of the life-changing work these students have committed to, and are so excited to share more of their journey!?
