As we honor all of our Veterans, we take a moment to offer special recognition to the founder of our firm, John E. Prigmore. John proudly served in the Navy Air Corps during World War II. After the war, he took full advantage of his well-earned G.I. Bill benefit to study Architecture at Kansas State University. Upon graduating in 1950, John and his wife, Louise, moved their family to Salt Lake City, UT, where he gained valuable experience as part of the design team for the U.S. Army’s Dugway Proving Ground. In 1952, John returned to his hometown of El Dorado, KS, to establish his own practice, where he set the standard for Defying Gravity. #VeteransDay
