February 28th is Rare Disease Day. There are 300 million people living with a rare disease, which are difficult to diagnose and treat. This is why Gravity is pleased to offer Pharmacogenetics testing (PGx) to help identify how individuals may react to certain medications. Through PGx testing, we hope to provide effective treatment options without the trial-and-error process of medication testing. Together, we can increase treatment options for everyone.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our dear friend, partner and mentor, Dick Kramlich. Dick was an integral part of our journey as a company. Dick has been quoted saying, “A lot of people think venture capital is a game of numbers. It’s not -?it’s game of courage.” Nothing could be more true with how Dick became involved with Gravity. Dick took a chance on and believed in us when no one as an outsider looking in would have thought made sense. His curiosity, optimism and perspective was a guiding light for us as a leadership team. His presence, insight and big smile will be greatly missed.

National Donor Day is a day to recognize those who have given and received the gift of life through organ, eye and tissue donation, are currently waiting for a lifesaving transplant, and those who died waiting because an organ was not donated in time.
