Reflections from the NCONL | North Carolina Organization of Nurse Leaders : Elevating Nursing Leadership & Workforce Innovation This year’s NCONL Conference brought together some of the most forward-thinking nursing leaders to discuss the future of leadership in the new world of work, workforce well-being, and innovative strategies for patient care. From Rose Sherman's keynote on new strategies for nursing leadership to panel discussions on broadening horizons and breakout sessions for emerging leaders, the event underscored the critical role of empowering nurses at every level to drive innovation and resilience in healthcare. One of the most pressing themes? Workforce engagement, retention, and well-being—challenges that demand smarter solutions to support and sustain frontline staff. At Gratia Health, we are committed to supporting these efforts by: ? Gamified Engagement – Driving performance through interactive, meaningful incentives ? Motivation Levers – Utilizing behavioral science to reinforce positive workplace behaviors ? Smart Initiatives – Aligning workforce goals with organizational success ? Sentiment Feedback Loop – Providing real-time insights to enhance job satisfaction and retention As healthcare evolves, nursing leadership is more important than ever, and Laura Fleischfresser, MBA, RN and I were honored to be part of the conversation. Here are a few photos from the event: Patricia Mook, Phyllis Justus, Sarah Lackey DNP RN ACC CMC CPQC, Michelle Adamolekun, Vi-Anne Antrum, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CENP, FACHE, Donna Wimberly, Waqiah Ellis PhD, RN, NE-BC, BCC, Janice Walker and many others.
