The meaning of Gratia, (pronounced Gray-sha) conveys grace, thanks, kindness, goodwill, and friendship! Gratia Geomatics, LLC is a MBE, SBE, and HUB certified Geospatial Engineering and Land Surveying firm based out of Spring, Texas, which is located in North Houston and just south of The Woodlands, primarily focused on commercial projects. Our services include Land Surveying, 3D Laser Scanning, Drone Services, and Utility Locating Services. Collectively, our team has over 60 years of experience within our industry, here in the Houston Region. We have strong relationships with many of the engineering firms in the area, municipalities including all Harris County Precincts, Harris County Flood Control, Harris County Toll Road Authority, and we are a pre-certified vendor with TxDOT.

The Conrad Blucher Institute has named Desiree Hurst and Isidro X Garza as the 2024 Conrad Blucher Chairs for Excellence in Surveying! This recognition marks the first time in more than 30 years that two chairs have been appointed concurrently, aligning with the original vision for the program. It is also a full-circle moment, honoring two TAMU-CC alumni whose education was shaped by the influence of past chairs.

Today, on Veterans Day, we pay tribute to all the brave men and women who have served our country. At Gratia Geomatics, we are proud to support our veterans and show our appreciation for their sacrifices. Recently, our staff had the privilege of volunteering and serving veterans from all branches at the V. V. Ramsey Veterans Center-Veterans Appreciation Luncheon, where we had the honor of listening to inspiring guest speakers Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia and USMC Major Katie Higgins Cook, the first ever female to fly for the Blue Angels. It was a humbling experience to show our appreciation for their service to our nation. Let us always remember and honor the courage and dedication of our veterans. Thank you to all who have served.
