We worked with long-time client NWI Food Council to design a series of farm-to-school posters and handouts, both in English and Spanish, for schools, parents, and kids. ???? Last week, my colleague Emily Deevers and I had the chance to attend the San Diego regional gathering for the 37th Annual California Small Farm Conference – an inspiring event organized by the incredible team at Community Alliance with Family Farmers. Held at the beautiful S&S Friendly Ranch in the Tijuana River Valley, the afternoon was filled with insightful conversations and valuable connections. We left with a deeper understanding of the unique challenges small farmers face in our area and how we can continue supporting them, while also nurturing the next generation of farmers. The event served as a powerful reminder of the resilience and innovation of farmers, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work with such passionate, hard-working humans.

We had the pleasure of working with photographer DAVE PLUIMER to begin building a library of professional photography for Indiana Food Vision. So far, we've captured focus groups and a farm visit, with more to come. These photos help bring the initiative to life in email blasts, social media posts, and on their website. I had the privilege of visiting one of Grapevine Local Food Marketing's clients, Rebel Pastures, earlier this winter, and it was such a delight to see their incredible work up close! I took home some of their delicious pasture-raised bacon and eggs, and I even got to purchase my Thanksgiving turkey from one of their partner farms, Flying W Ranch. A big thank you to Jenni, Justin, & the whole team at Rebel Pastures for the vital work you're doing to advance local food systems. There are many amazing things about working at Grapevine, but I’d say that one of my favorite perks is getting to visit our clients whenever possible. Thanks for having me!
