The Imperial Valley Wellness Foundation (IVWF), announced that Alliance Healthcare Foundation has transferred 10 percent of its endowment to IVWF. These funds will be locally held and managed in perpetuity in California's rural Imperial Valley. IVWF focuses on the health and wellness of vulnerable populations with a long-term vision of making the Imperial Valley a better place to live for all.

GIH President and CEO Cara V. James's new letter to the GIH community addresses how philanthropy should respond to the current moment. "Now more than ever, we need to stand together, work together, and collaborate with allies inside and outside of health philanthropy to strategize and act.
