关于我们
Grant Me Hope's mission is to find adoptive homes for foster children before they age out of the system alone facing homelessness. Grant Me Hope has three goals: 1.) Educate the public as to the plight of the aged-out foster child 2.) Recruit more foster homes and families to limit the number of foster children living in institutions 3.) Get as many foster children adopted as possible Grant Me Hope is a marketing initiative. We work alongside state, county and other nonprofit organizations to help them introduce foster children who are available for adoption to the public, hoping a good family will take an interest in the child. Grant Me Hope's primary program is the production of high-quality, TV broadcast-worthy one- and two-minute videos of the foster children who opt to participate in our program. These videos are done of individual children or sibling groups who wish to be adopted together. The videos are then aired on our partnering television stations (WZZM-Grand Rapids, MI; WXYZ-Detroit; WWUP-Cadillac, Traverse City, Sault St. Marie; WCPO-Cincinnati, OH; WKEF-Dayton, OH; and WRGT-Dayton; and TCT TV in Michigan and Ohio), used on our website and on social media. The videos are meant to be an introduction to the foster child/children in that video in hopes of spurring interest by a potential family. The children we work with are foster children who's parental rights have been severed and therefore available for adoption by a new parent or parents. Our state, county and nonprofit organizations that work with foster children work very hard for them. But unfortunately some do not identify a new family before aging out of the system. It's those children, those who are close to aging out and who are facing adulthood alone without a family to love, guide and support them, that Grant Me Hope focuses on. Each year in America more than 23,000 children (young adults) age out of the foster care system. Twenty-five percent will experience homelessness.

We recommend turning the volume up and listening for a theme. . . Julian, 14, is going to need a #ForeverParent or parents who are NOT bothered by #wildanimals! Learn more about this #Michigan #FosterChild at grantmehope.org/julian/ There will always be a need for more foster and adoptive parents. If it's been on your heart, we recommend starting the licensing process. It takes several months to complete and it will address any concerns or questions you have.

You're familiar with the term, "Dad Jokes," right? Well this kid is full of them! But Joshua, 12, doesn't have a dad. . . Can you imagine him with a energetic, active father who wants to play video games, get outdoors and have a good laugh? That would be life changing for Josh. Learn more about him: https://lnkd.in/grQH27Qy Support our efforts to find #FosterChildren like Joshua a #ForeverFamily before they age out of #FosterCare alone facing #Homelessness. For our 10th anniversary year, we're asking our supporters to give just $10. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/gv3eU54B

As the Homes Administrator for Grant Me Hope, its always a great day when I get to welcome a new resident into our homes program. Our homes for aged-out foster youth provide comprehensive life skills training, career guidance, financial counseling, educational assistance, mentoring, and Bible study, in a safe, affordable, and loving family-type environment. We prepare our residents for successful and stable, independent living so they can not simply "survive," but "THRIVE" as happy, healthy young adults. But it doesn't end there. We also want our homes to be a place to come back to for support, guidance, holidays, birthdays, taco Tuesday, etc. If you are a Case Worker or an Advocate who know of foster youth in danger of aging-out with nowhere to go, message me. These two need to stay together!
Lots of protective big brother energy in this video and Stella clearly looks up to Malachi! One of the reasons Grant Me Hope was founded was a hope to keep #Sibling #FosterChildren together in #Adoption. This tight duo is hoping to be #adopted in #SouthCarolina.
