Another Grant County EDC Community Connect is in the BOOKS! Last night’s event showcased guest speaker Jim McKiernan, the Director of Grant County Fairgrounds. Guests learned about improvements to the fairgrounds, (boasting the largest campground in Grant County with 465 sites, BTW), an economic impact study revealing that the fairgrounds contribute between $12-15 million annually to the county economy, and $6 million of that in Moses Lake! Thank you, Jim, for these insights! Thanks also in great part to the wonderful staff and hospitality of Moses Lake Taproom, as this Community Connect event was another excellent opportunity for learning, collaboration, and networking. The energy in the room was absolutely fantastic, and from all of us at Grant EDC, we are so grateful to everyone there! Are you interested in joining a Community Connect event?
