The 4th annual Carolinas Reading Colloquium was a success! Faculty and students from Coastal Carolina University, North Carolina State University, Clemson University, Duke University, and College of Charleston spent the weekend participating in a Socratic-style discussion of the book "The Sharing Economy: Its Pitfalls and Promises" by Michael Munger, Ph.D. Fantastic discussion was had, ideas were shared, and professional relationships were built. We appreciate the opportunity to continue offering these types of experiences to #CCU students. The first picture is of the participants of this year's colloquium. The second picture is our director, Rob Salvino, Ph.D., with Duke University professor, Richard Salsman, Ph.D. These economists enjoyed having a conversation on the supply and demand of rents from rent-seeking.
