One of the community events we look forward to hosting every year is the “River Run”, a 5k walk/run through our Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry in Hollister to benefit the YMCA of San Benito County. Participants journey through the active quarry, getting up close and personal with the specialized equipment, scenic nature, and the banks of the San Benito River. This past September, Graniterock raised $10,000!

Graniterock’s Building Materials is now called Graniterock Supply, a change that reflects a growing business, expanded product offerings and ambitious future. “As we continue to evolve, we want our name to match our vision of being the go-to source for all things construction supply,” said Business Manager Jeff Lindsay. “This rebrand helps us better serve our customers while staying true to the roots that built Graniterock.” The name Graniterock Supply pays tribute to the Company’s legacy, tying back to Central Supply Company, which played a pivotal role in Graniterock’s early success. More than just a name change, this shift strengthens the team’s mission of delivering high-quality materials with the service that contractors and homeowners have come to expect. “We’re excited to introduce Graniterock Supply as part of our ongoing commitment to helping our customers build with confidence,” said Manager Chris Wilson. “This rebrand signals our dedication to being a trusted partner in the industry, now and into the future.” Graniterock Supply is built on three core product groups: Construction, hardscape and landscape.

Women have paved the way at Graniterock for 125 years! This Women in Construction Week, we celebrate those who are redefining roles and leading the charge in our industry.

Loading up Graniterock aggregate at dawn to supply our concrete and asphalt plants across the San Francisco Bay Area. Each rail car we ship takes four semi-trucks off the road, which reduces congestion and lowers emissions while keeping projects on track (literally!).

Graniterock was honored to receive official proclamations from Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, Senator John Laird and Assemblymember Dawn Addis in recognition of our 125-year anniversary! These proclamations celebrate Graniterock’s deep roots in California and our commitment to our people, customers and communities. The milestone was marked with a special 125th birthday celebration at our Watsonville headquarters, where team members gathered to reflect on the company's history and incredible journey ahead. ????????
