We’ve closed out another SWPPP project last week, right here in Manchester, NH! As part of the City’s RAISE Manchester infrastructure project, the Central Manchester Rail Trail was constructed by Pichette Brothers Construction, providing 0.7 miles of paved trails for pedestrians and cyclists. Granite was able to provide EPA SWPPP Report production, Project Operations Plan production and site inspections throughout the construction process. The trail is looking great and already getting a ton of traffic!

Past industry experience includes commercial, industrial, and residential site plans, subdivisions, roadway design, and the associated local, state, and federal permitting. Large projects personally designed and managed by the founders of Granite Engineering include several large condominium developments, apartment complexes, conventional and open space subdivisions with thousands of feet of roadway design, and large commercial and industrial buildings. On a smaller scale, Jeffrey and Brenton are experienced to provide septic designs, wetland impact permits, shoreland impact permits, construction inspections, and any other permit or design associated with State and local regulations. Company partners are well-known in the industry and have significant experience with municipal board presentations and public hearings. Granite Engineering is devoted to the responsible development of the greater Manchester community, including service as the Vice Chair of the Manchester Conservation Commission. Allow us to welcome a new member of our team here at Granite, Brandon Devlin! ?? Brandon is an experienced Project Design Engineer / Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the civil engineering industry. He graduated from Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY with a BS degree in Civil Engineering in 2016 and has been a licensed professional engineer since 2022. After college, he worked in New York completing private residential site plan and septic design. He then moved to Florida where he has accumulated the majority of his professional engineering experience learning best practices for site and stormwater design, permitting procedure, project workflow, and restrictive criteria identification. He then went on to join a Corporate Nationwide company as Project Manager / Senior Design Engineer investigating and identifying the various local, county, and state requirements necessary to complete and permit projects throughout the country. ? Brandon has extensive experience navigating Development Review Committees, Planning Boards, and Zoning Boards, in addition to Local, County, State, and Federal organization requirements and design criteria. ?Here at Granite, he will continue to utilize his experience to maintain efficient design, project workflow, and meet client requirements.
